MANOEL DE OLIVEIRA pereceu com 106 anos vìtima de uma crise cardìaca, tendo
nascido no Porto em 11 de dezembro de 1908, numa famìlia burguesa e industrial,
abraçou a carreira do cinema muito cedo graças ao seu pai que era um
incondicional desta arte.
Este decano mundial do cinema começou muito jovem a desempenhar como actor
nalguns filmes, entre os quais no 1° filme falante português “A canção de Lisboa” datando de 1933.
