Esta iniciativa francesa, bastante contestada ainda hoje por diversas razões, foi imitada em seguida por muitos Paìses no mundo à baila da conveniência e modalidade. Como é o caso da IVA (Imposto sobre o Valor Acrescentado) em Portugal ou em Cabo Verde.
Em França tal imposto (mas existem mais, e de todas as cores) contestada ou não, tem uma simples finalidade, segundo o apetite ou estratégia econòmica do governo em posto: De saquear “mais dinheiro” do consumidor para o Estado...(e algures.)
Aliàs, em 2013 TVA fez entrar do bolso do cidadão, via consumo, 143 milhares de Euros para o cofre do Estado. Bonito rendimento.
De acordo com um amigo português, nos seus momentos de humor, não hesita a mudar o sentido da ùltima inicial da TVA, “Taxa sobe o Valor Aldrabado”. Pudera!!
Para além dos Paìses de outros continentes, todos os Paìses da União européia aplicam esta taxa com valores diferentes fixado por cada Estado. Normalmente o montante deste imposto é proporcional ao preço da venda fora da taxa.
Como disse atràs este imposto veio num dia do mês de abril de 1954 para
ficar... E ficou.
