Carnaval Tropical de Paris 2014, no passado dia 5 de Julho corrente, e aproveitou para
lembrar que esta data é também memoràvel para os caboverdianos pois é a comemoração da
independência do nosso Paìs.
Desde sete anos sob a iniciativa do ex-Presidente da Câmara de Paris,
Bertrand Delanöe, o Carnaval Tropical de Paris é um espetàculo garantido nas
ruas da capital com um percurso que começa de Bastille até a Porte Dorée, em que tomam parte vàrias
comunidades de Paris principalmente os Antilhanos e Guianenses. Como é òbvio a influência do Samba do Brasil é indispensàvel e esteve sempre presente.
A nova recém-nomeada presidente da Câmara de Paris, Anne Hidalgo, prometeu e garantiu
continuar com a iniciativa do seu predecessor, e mesmo de amelhorar a
organização da mesma através das experiências ganhas dos anos passados.
