A artista plàstica caboverdiana Benvinda Pereira, natural de S. Vicente, esteve presente na Exposição do "Hotel de Ville de Paris" que decorreu entre 18 de Novembro à 5 de Dezembro deste ano, sob a égide de "Mairie de Paris" (Câmara Municipal de Paris) tendo como sempre uma grande afluência dos curiosos, turistas e nacionais, e amantes da arte.
O trabalho exposto pela nossa conterrânea e artista sob o tema "La nuit sera belle", nos salta aos olhos desde que começamos a percorrer os salões da exposição bem guarnecidos de trabalhos de artistas de vàrias nacionalidades. Não é preciso ser crìtico de arte para se aperceber que "La nuit sera belle" (A noite serà bela) é um tema virado para um futuro esperançoso, algo que caracteriza todo o caboverdiano.
Não posso deixar de referir aqui que, Hotel de Ville é uma grande casa ou seja uma instituição municipal carregada de història, sede do presidente da primeira Câmara de Paris (Mairie de Paris, esta cidade possui 20 Câmaras), um palàcio datando do século XIV (1357) com excelentes espaços dedicados à exposição.
Benvinda não é neòfita neste prestigioso palàcio, pois tendo jà aì participado noutras exposições anteriores. Ela é muita popular no seio da comunidade caboverdiana de França, a nossa artista jà participou em vàrias exposições neste paìs e não hesita nunca fazê-lo desde que o ensejo se apresentar o que é relevante para Cabo Verde, e para nòs os caboverdianos.
